New S-Rec Revenue Grade Meter Requirement

Testimonials

"I just got my panels from NJ Solar Power. I was very impressed with the entire process. They explained everything I was to expect and always answered all my questions no matter how silly they were. When I look at my meter and it's either barely moving or it's spinning in reverse I get all excited. I can't wait to see my first full electric bill. If anyone is ever considering panels, I highly recommend NJ Solar Power."

To our valued clients:

On Tuesday, November 22nd, you most likely received notification from the GATS administrator on behalf of the NJ BPU detailing the proposed regulatory amendment requiring revenue grade meters on all Solar Systems installed in New Jersey. Without the revenue grade meter, SRec certificates will not be issued if the meters are not in place 6 months after the rule is adopted. The deadline is anticipated to be June 20, 2012.

It is anticipated this rule will be adopted in December 2011 and the BPU has given a six month window for systems without ANSI C-12 Revenue grade meters to be installed. Revenue grade meters were not required for the majority of systems that were installed prior to mid 2009.

NJ Solar Power, LLC recognizes the urgency to our customers to comply with this new regulation. We have both residential and commercial solutions in house and ready to be scheduled for installation. The solutions include installation of a "basic revenue grade production meter" with digital readout; a more advanced solution allowing you to monitor your system through a web site on your home computer; and having NJ Solar Power, LLC and its affiliate companies proactively monitor your system for you remotely.

It should be noted that customers still under our 5 year installation warranty must utilize NJ Solar Power, LLC in order to maintain the warranty in force.

Please call NJ Solar Power today at 1-877-SOLARME, or fill out the revenue grade meter request form to determine the appropriate solution, obtain pricing and schedule your install.

Sincerely,

NJ Solar Power, LLC
